The Tile Coach
Mike’s Pick“The best wealth of knowledge for a homeowner to get it done right.” — Mike Bourdages
Isaac Ostrom is a tile setter who teaches the trade on his TileCoach YouTube channel: shower pans, curbs, walls that are flat and plumb, waterproofing and setting the tile itself, with long videos that show the whole job instead of a quick clip. He also runs the TileCoach Forum, where homeowners and installers bring their tile questions.
Paid tile courses exist, but The Tile Coach teaches a ton of it free, and so does Burlington Tile Academy.
Why we like him: he shows the prep nobody sees, and he explains why each step matters.
